Was kommt darunter? Thermoshirt für Outdoor-Aktivitäten
Ob man es nun Thermo-, Ski- oder Funktionswäsche nennt, was man beim Outdoorsport in der kalten Jahreszeit darunter trägt, sollte warmhalten – und das nicht nur während der aktiven Phasen, sondern auch bei kleinen Verschnaufpausen zwischendurch. Ein Thermoshirt, das direkt auf der Haut getragen wird, muss daher die Körpertemperatur regulieren und stets warm und trocken halten.
Natürliche oder synthetische Fasern?
Moderne Funktionsunterwäsche wird üblicherweise aus synthetischen Fasern hergestellt. Das macht sie leicht, atmungsaktiv und schnell trocknend. Je nach Gewebe, halten sie den Körper auch warm. Trotzdem haben natürliche Fasern - wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle - gegenüber Kunstfasern einen entscheidenden Vorteil: sie sind wesentlich hautfreundlicher. Anders als normale Baumwollshirts, die Schweiß zwar gut aufnehmen, die Feuchtigkeit aber nicht abtransportieren, begünstigt ein Thermoshirt aus Baumwolle mit Silberfasern die Verdunstung von Feuchtigkeit. Dank der antibakteriellen Eigenschaften des Edelmetalls kann zudem Körpergeruch gar nicht erst entstehen. Aber auch die Shirts selbst fangen – anders als Funktionstextilien aus Synthetik – nicht schon nach ein paar Wäschen zu müffeln an. Und weil die Silberfasern die Temperatur automatisch regulieren, wird es einem bei Anstrengung nicht zu warm und in Ruhepausen nicht zu kalt.
